We made a last minute decision on Sunday morning and decided to drive out to the Oregon Coast.
We packed up the car, stopped by the grocery store and loaded our cooler with food, drinks and ice and were on our way.
The kids were getting tired and cranky towards the end of the ride, but all in all we made it to Pacific City.
We met up with friends and had lunch and played in the sand and water.
Then we cleaned up and went to the Pelican Pub for dinner.
Both of the kids slept the whole way back.
It was a great day!
