Beaded Elastic Belt

I made this elastic belt, after failing to find anything at the mall. There are so many black, brown belts out there, But I couldn't find a single white wide belt. So here it is.

I used scraps of elastic I had left over:

I sewed the pieces together:

I folded the elastic and sewed it on the edge like so:

I also attached snaps (not pictured)

Then I used Modge Podge and spread a thick layer:

I sprinkled some glass beads:

I waited till the modge podge dried, then I spread another layer right on top of the beads:

I let the modge podge dry over night:
